The gold and platinum accents are fantastic. This is part of the Family Collection. This piece is approximately 2 ½” tall, 3" long and 2 ½” wide. BEAUTIFUL! This piece was hand carved and painted in Uruguay, then fired in a kiln-twice (see below). Because they are all hand painted and carved, no two are exactly alike. And that is what makes these beautiful and unique pieces from De Rosa Rinconada so special and wonderful. The Robin is new and will come in the original packaging and box. Note: The highlights/speckles in the pictures are the lighting and not any flaw on the product. Photographer error! J De Rosa Rinconada Collections figurines are unique works of ceramic art designed by Uruguayan artisans and craftsman. Expert hands skillfully create every new product, always under the supervision of the De Rosa family. Each figurine is carved by hand; no two subjects are ever carved exactly the same. When the carving is completely finished the figurine is ready for its first kiln firing. The figurines are hand-painted with a colorful variety of ceramic slips and bright enamel glazes. When completed each figurine once again needs to be fired in the kiln. The application of gold and platinum mark the final step.
