Backs irregularly shaped, about 8.4 wide at lower bout, 22 long , sanded to about 0.14o thick Sides, 32 long, 4.9 to 4.4 wide sanded to approximately 0.110 thick.Excellent tap, Padauk can have a lovely dense/oily/waxy feel, reminiscent of some rosewoods and is a good "alternative" tonewood. For some reason the orange/red color of Padauk is difficult to capture with the iphone, So I have taken the pics at unusual angles to try and get a better approximation of color. The edges have not been jointed, as I have left them as wide as possible.
