Description: NEW aftermarket CCW 12 Volt field coil, set. This kit Includes: 1 set of 12-volt field coils, 4 pole shoe screws. & a contact stud kit. This kit fits the early Delco starters that used a contact stud for a switch, at the same end of the field housing as the brushes are. The lists below are primarily applications for the field coils. NOTE; 12-volt replacement field coils only have 1 brush wire connection point where the 6-volt fields have 2. This is normal. You just tape off the unused connection point on the brush wire & tuck it back out of the way. Field coils can be difficult to install. Heavy soldering is required to connect the stud. These will also fit other applications, some of which may require a different stud. If you need a different stud, just let me know BEFORE you buy the kit so I can make sure I have what you need. If you are not sure what you need & have a Delco starter number or an original application, I should be able to help you.
