Description: Dell Inspiron 5000 Series 15 you fix or for parts. Doesn't power up. It shut down when I was using it one day and wouldn't power on again. I am not computer savvy at all so I had a tech look at it and he told me that the charger and battery are good, he thinks there's a short on the board somewhere and that the mother board might need to be replaced. The 15.6" screen is fine. (This is NOT the touch screen model). The processor is Intel Core i5 according to the sticker on the computer, I selected "7" because I had to select a processor in order to list the item, but I actually don't know the generation. The hard drive is fine, I had a tech do what he called a "military wipe" to remove my personal info. Cosmetically GREAT shape (one of the plastic hinge covers fell off a while ago but it's included and can be easily glued back on). I'm the original owner. I don't remember the specs except that I know it has 8 gb of RAM. Of course, since it doesn't power up, I can't tell you what they are. Nothing else is included besides what you see in the pics. Sold AS IS for parts or repair.
