There are actually 3 types of muzzle brakes currently on the market. The screw on, the bolt-on and the Clamp on. The screw on are the one that screw on the barrel muzzle when the muzzle is threaded, the bolt-on and the Clamp on are pretty similar in that they both secure behind or around the front sight.
