The sound is spectacular. The Shibata stylus opened mids and made base well more tight than original 16.4um Special Round stylus. The tracking was improved tremendously as well. The cartridge has 10 hours on this brand new cantilever/stylus. This is true high End MC cartridge now that is well in line with almost any $3K-5K cartridge on the market today.
