I use the truck for towing the boat or car trailer. Pro:Great design with cooling tubes. All the bolt holes line up, gasket surface is flat, no leaks. It Does requires a shallow filter. Con: the temp sensor fitting points straight to the exhaust pipe and heat shield, useless. Drain bolt points straight down. if this is used for off road I would need to relocate it. On my truck the air flow to the trans pan is blocked buy the skid plate and engine. I made a little air diverter from aluminum to help direct air flow to the tubes. I used aluminum so it would crush on impact and not damage anything around it. I do not have a temp sensor so I can not monitor the difference. Yes, I recommend this product. Keeping Your Cool... I thought this is a good idea, extra fluid and air flow tubes cast into the pan to help keep it cool. Perfect for a bracket racer.Well now Im finally building my bracket car, and I want to make sure hot trans oil temp wont be an issue...
