Description: This kit provides a fix for those pesky leaky descale valves, also known as boiler drain valves. Some symptoms of a descale drain valve leak are:You notice your steam boiler topping up too often, but there's no leak in the machine from either the boiler or the hydraulicsThe drip tray seems to always have clean water in itThere's a hissing sound or steam coming out from the right-hand side of the drip trayThere's often water beneath the drip tray - this comes from a steam boiler valve leak. The steam eventually condensates on the roof of the drip tray area and ends up trickling down the sides and under your drip tray.The main culprit is the seal on the tip of the needle valve, the green one almost never disintegrates as it's not subjected to any pressure or very much heat at all. The seals that connect directly to the boiler and the valve can also become worn, so we include these, just to be safe.
