Description: A note to all Ebay buyers: Shipment service disruptions and delay may occur due to the current situation in Israel. ******************************************************* This auction is for an aluminum metal model of the Israeli Aircraft Industry LAVI Multirole Jet Fighter Prototype The model piece was an early experimental casting: the aluminum surface of the jet has the handmade carving marks of the artisan which are crude and uncut, missing the tail fin and the bubble canopy. This model is sold with a desk-top transparent polyester casting pen-holder with a silhouette of the LAVI jet embalmed inside it. I did not find any manufacturer mark. The Lavi project was canceled in 1987, with a total of five airframes that were been built and only two prototypes that were completed. Size of model: 13.7 cm long and about 9.4 cm wingspan Condition: The model is in fair shape. Missing the cockpit bubble canopy and the tail fin which can be added with some TLC work. The transparent polyester casting has light wear with some scratches. It would make a beautiful addition to any aviation collection and it would look great on your display shelf. NO RESERVE!
