Di Fate is a major talent in the field, winner of a 1979 Hugo Award for Best Professional Artist, and a 2011 inductee to the Science Fiction Hall of Fame. He also won the Skylark Award for lifetime achievement from NESFA in 1987, among many other awards. This first hardcover edition is not merely a showcase and retrospective of his previously published work but expands upon it with a good deal of additional new content. This copy is signed by the author on the front page. The dustjacket is protected with an archival plastic cover but was photographed without it. This highly collectible book is terrific for any fan of art or science fiction!
