Make sure to turn off the "IR cut filter" in your camera which will filter out external infrared light. 4. Be aware that the effective distance achieved shall vary because of different cameras and installation environments. 5. 850nm lamp is semi-covert and NOT 100% invisible, it gives red glow which is invisible when more than 5 feet away from the light. 6. For OUTDOOR applications, please make sure that the PSU is protected by a weatherproof box and the DC connection is sealed with electrical tape. 7. If you need the lamp to work in the daytime, please cover the photocell with black tape. 8. November 2023 - We have replaced the former 12V DC power supplies with 24V DC ones to avoid pressure drop and loss of brightness after using long extension cable. The lamp itself works on both 12V and 24V DC input.
