Dinky 749/992 Avro Vulcan Delta Wing Bomber Rare Original Very Near Mint Unboxed

Description: Superb example unboxed. This is in great condition with the odd mark all decals are complete but a couple have some damage to the outer edge.The wheels are original This is a Canadian export model and although it is difficult to be absolutely precise, reputedly only 500 or so were made between 1955-56. The model was too heavy to be cast in Mazac so the decision was made to cast in aluminium. Due to the difficulties in casting, only a limited number were made and all were exported to Canada. Original decision to assign this aircraft a Supertoy number 749 was made (hence the number cast on the underside of the model).
