Description: Dino Martens Murano Vase Glass Tutti Frutti Series Aureliano Toso Italy 1950s In 1939, Dino Martens became artistic director of Aureliano Toso's glass factory. There he designed numerous works from 1946 to 1960, taking up traditional Venetian glass techniques. He became particularly well-known for his polychrome effects, which he often combined with asymmetrical forms. Above all, the colorfulness of his glass art has always inspired, but also his ability to work with melted glass threads and other sophisticated techniques. Martens ended his collaboration with Toso in 1963. He died just seven years later in his native Venice. This preowned piece is in beautiful condition as shown in the pictures.
