Description: This is a large Carcharodontosaurus saharicus tooth from the Kem Kem Formation in Morocco. Carcharodontosaurus was a bipedal, carnivorous dinosaur, sometimes called the African T.rex and was bigger than the American T. rex. It had a mouth full of curved serrated teeth, and lived during the Cretaceous era.The tooth is 2.1 inches long -this is a straight measurement from base to tip, and 0.99 inches wide at the base.The tooth has about 99% of its original enamel, a small root and well-preserved serrations (enamel folds).
