Description: Offering a very rare, framed watercolor print by Barbara A. Maloney, who with her husband Jack, wrote: The Wee Mad Road – A Midlife Escape to the Highlands. In the story, authors Jack and Barbara Maloney sell their house in a midwest suburb and take off to the Scottish Highlands. Following a one-lane track called ''The Wee Mad Road,'' they discover an isolated remnant of traditional Gaelic culture, peopled by characters as unique and memorable as the surrounding mountains. Barbara drew pictures to illustrate her story of life in the Highlands of Scotland and a very limited number of prints were made of them. I have six of her watercolor prints featuring life in Achiltibuie. They are each listed separately. This one is called: Dipping the Lambs - Achiltibuie - September 1982. It is signed in the print and numbered: 6/50 Print is framed, double matted and under glass. Wood frame measures 11" X 13". Visible artwork measures: 6 ½" X 8 ½". Brown paper back with twisted wire hanger. Excellent condition with no damage. FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING!
