Description: "It's a Small World" Original Costume Design Model Sheet Prints by Alice Davis Group of 7 (Walt Disney, 1963/1964). Disney Legends Alice Davis (1929 - 2022) and Mary Blair (1911 - 1978) let their creativity and knowledge of fabric run wild when they designed the costumes for the "It's a Small World" attraction at the 1964-1965 New York World Fair. They created designs for over 150 countries and 9 of Alice's personal model sheet prints are included here. The prints cover the Central America, Mexico, Greece, and Sweden. Each 14'' x 16.75'' brown paper print includes extensive notes on the colors, materials, designs, and even location of where some of the hats and wigs would be made. All pages include beautifully detailed full figures that range from about 11'' x 16'' to 6.75'' x 13'', each with WED Enterprises Inc. stamps along the bottom edge. Similar drawings are included on pages 222 and 223 of the book Marc Davis Imagineering in the Disney Theme Parks Volume 1. These pages have been attached for reference. Very Good condition overall for this gorgeous historical lot with light age-related toning, minor age and handling wear, and faint fold. From the Disney Legend Inductees Marc and Alice Davis Archive.
