Description: This vintage New, Old Stock (just been opened) Ditzler Automotive Finishes calendar from Lind Motor Supply Inc. out of Thief River Falls, Minnesota was made in 1966 and starts with the last page of December of 1966 and has the entire year of 1967 left. This calendar features a stunning pin-up model that’s giving her hunting dog special lessons by showing him a picture of the bird they are after. Alongside this beautiful gal is also a hunting rifle and depicts a blue station wagon in the background. Artist: Elvgren. The vibrant multi-colored design is a true representation of the era and a must-have item for collectors of advertising and memorabilia. This calendar was made in the United States and is a great addition to any collection. Terrific condition considering its age and large size! This size promotional calendar from Ditzler is the largest size that was able to be produced & printed at that time. Beautiful colors, beautiful picture. No fading, since I just opened the paper tube it originally came in. I have weights that are holding the calendar down-since it has been rolled up for many years and wants to stay rolled up. Slight small rips/creases at the edge towards the bottom, left hand side. The staples holding the calendar onto the poster has rusted a bit and has left a few small rust marks, along with some oxidation of the bottom and top (a tiny bit) along the metal strips, keeping the poster straight.
