Description: Dornford Yates was well known for the ten 'Berry & Co' novels and his eight 'Chandos' thrillers. He also published a selection of other novels and short stories. For sale is a complete set of the sixteen non-Berry/non-Chandos novels - see pictures. Covers are in used but reasonable condition. Most have dust jackets; all books are in good internal condition with no pages torn or missing. This set includes a first edition of Wife Apparent: originally to be called Lady in Waiting, the title had to be changed when another book with the same name was published first. The first edition dust jackets had already been printed so were just over-printed with the new title and an explanatory note added to the book - see pictures.
