Description: An Exeter College, Oxford, Boat Club, two handled pewter mug engraved with arms and 'EXETER COLLEGE MEADE FOURS 1893'. The glass bottom is cracked. It has had some bumps over the last 130 years, which is to be expected. Names of the 4 oarsmen and cox are engraved: Halden - the Bow Selby Lowndes - 2nd oar Anderson - 3rd oar Smith - Stroke Crump - Cox On the underside, it is engraved with the manufacturers, James Dixon and Sons of Sheffield, and their trumpet hallmark which was used between 1879 and 1927
