The second hat band is braided horse hair. The hat comes in a size 6 5/8 (actual measurement of 21" in the photos) and a beige color, perfect for completing a cowboy-inspired look. It has a wide brim for sun protection, making it both functional and fashionable for any Western enthusiast. The hat lining has come loose but is available to ship with the hat. Also the stampede string is missing but the holes are there to add a new one if you like. There is also a slide for a stampede string which matches the inlaid conchos on the sides of the hat. I do not know the grade of beaver felt as it is not marked. This is no small hat as the brim is a full 5 inches and the top of the crown is 6 inches tall. See photos for more of these measurements. I do not have the hat box as when I purchased it I wore it home! It has been kept in a smoke free home at all times and is very clean. Thanks for looking.
