Description: Dresden Style 19th Century Austrian Hand Painted Floral & Gold Large Leaf Dish Nice large porcelain handled leaf dish. Decorated in the Dresden style with hand painted pink, purple, orange, blue, and yellow flowers., With gold gilding along the edge and gold highlights to the handle. Has an impressed Victoria Karlsbad Austria mark on the reverse. Made by Schmidt & Co / Victoria Pottery, probably around 1891 to 1900. Also marked with a blue crown above a D above a two crossed swords above Austria. I have not been able to identify this blue overglaze decorators mark. It does not seem to be in any reference books that I have. Has a few small chips to the foot rim and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 13 3/4 inches wide x 3 1/4 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
