Description: We believe this is obviously a Duncan & Miller product - along the lines of what looks to be a Canterbury product. Candy dish, maybe? Powder Puff box. As you can see there are no dividers in it which is the norm for this type of dish. The other identification we haven’t been able to tell you about is the etching that adorns this beautiful light blue piece. It is etched on the lid as well as on the sides of the bottom dish. The condition of this set is overall fairly good for a set we think is probably from the late 30’s or 40’s. Now we’re just speculating! Someone out there knows a LOT about Duncan & Miller and all their glass and I sure hope you see this glass! Please let us know about it! And like our friend dgaddict says - the glass he sells needs a new home! THIS GLASS NEEDS A NEW HOME! It really is just a beautiful set! WAIT A MINUTE, HOLD YOUR HORSES!! And I just had an EPIPHANY! What if it’s NOT DUNCAN & MILLER AT ALL!?!? WHAAAA!?!? The handle on the cover has little chips on the edges as you are able to see in the pictures. The rim on the inside of the cover has a few rough areas as well- they are minute nicks, rough spots really. There are minor use marks on the outside on the underside. IF YOU TELL ME THE MAKER, LINE AND NAME OF ETCH and can prove it…….(and you want to buy it) I’ll KNOCK 10 bucks off AND- AND - AND I’LL PAY THE SHIPPING! IT’s a challenge!!!
