Can easily be framed. *** Frames shown in photos are not included*** Thank you very much for your interest. Biography of the artist: DJ Harris was born in the seaside town of Torquay in Devon. His inspiration for his artwork has taken many forms, especially from the cult 1980's era. Most famous inspirations are drawn from Matt Groening (The Simpsons), Classic Disney illustrations, and Stan Lee (The Hulk, Spiderman). He always doodled and scribbled in his spare time throughout his childhood, whilst also entering every drawing competition that came up. In later life, the appearance of his nephew, Joey dawned a new creative side in me as I would draw/paint things to make him smile. He started off by painting him little pictures for his room which always made his eyes light up. When he turned about 18 months old he painted his entire room green and created a jungle themed wall mural using characters from the Lion King, Jungle Book etc. He painted a waterfall over his toy cupboard door so it looked like the water was flowing from within. There was also an elephant at the foot of his crib, with other animals peering inside from within the jungle. Joey would watch me paint and was clearly fascinated. Currently he has been working on his painting style and have been specialising in portraits of clients families, in particular their daily pets.
