Description: DURHAM BULLS 1990 - two - TEAM SETS of 29 cards each. This is a 1990 Minor League set produced by SPORTSPRINT. These cards include the notations: "HERALD-SUN NEWSPAPERS" (Durham, NC), "1990 SPORTSPRINT", and the logo for the CAROLINA LEAGUE (MiLB). For the listed price, you will receive the 2 team sets pictured, please examine photos for condition. The cards are in EXCELLENT/MINT condition, with sharp corners. For photography purposes, one set remained in a team bag, the other set was opened to allow individual images of the cards. The iconic Durham franchise was founded in 1902. They have been known as the Bulls from 1913 to 1967, and from 1980 to the present. The franchise has accumulated 17 League Titles and 23 Division Titles. The 1988 film "BULL DURHAM" transcended baseball and brought the team into Popular Culture. When these sets were issued, Durham was in the Carolina League, and an affiliate of the Atlanta Braves (from 1980 to 1997).
