Description: This is a decorative Dutch Folk Art Windmill Trinket Box or Jewelry Box Wood Chalet Hand Painted Hinged.Maybe a souvenir from Holland. See photos.Measurements: Wood base 6 7/8" across circle 6 1/4" to top of blades of windmill. Roof line on buildings measure 6" x 3 1/2".Details: Angled roof has 2 hinges to lift and store jewelry or trinkets. Below the windmill is a drawer which does not open very wide. The little tin ashtray which fits into the concave front area of the wood, appears to be aluminum. Windmill blades are fixed and do not spin. The Tower, building sides and roof, and stairs are all hand painted. In front yard of this housed is hand painted "To So Sp HoalloRCA". Please see photo as I am unsure of fancy letters.Very Good Condition. No chips and No cracks. This is old and has been well cared for.
