The Story: A young successful architect (Spader) has recently gone through a very painful divorce. His friends try to cheer him up by showing him the positive sides of being single but for him marriage and stability are important. Then he meets Lena (Amick) and his gloom is quickly forgotten. She is beautiful, sensual, mysterious and he is drawn to her like a moth to a flame. But strange incidents occur which shed light on Lena's mysterious past. He slowly realizes that he hardly knows anything about the woman he has married. Comment: A tightly wound plot and fine performances by the entire cast make for a great watch. Some folks might fault Spader's character as being very stupid (hey, you should find out a bit about your mate before marrying them, right?). This great neo noir thriller shows that beauty (and other things) is often skin deep. Not to be missed. Per the label, the running time is 104 minutes.
