Between 1998 and 2012, he was a member of the Council of IOSH and in 2010, was presented with the IOSH Presidents Distinguished Service Award. He has worked in a variety of senior safety and risk management roles in employment and consultancy in over sixty countries on six continents in a career which spans almost thirty years. This is Stephens fourth book.Edmund Jacobs is a Chartered Fellow of IOSH and is currently Head of Profession in the Ministry of Justice for Corporate Fire, Health and Safety. He has worked in the field of occupational health, safety and well-being for nearly twenty-five years and is a member of the IOSH Board of Trustees.
