Description: Offered for your consideration is a beautiful clear glass cream or milk pitcher made by Richards and Hartley (1865-1891) in their number 99 "Mikado" pattern. Also known as "Daisy and Button with Crossbars", this pattern was introduced in 1886. The pitcher measures 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall, 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) in diameter, and is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) fromn end of spout to outer edge of handle. This pitcher is in excellent used condition with no cracks, chips, noticeable scratches, roughness, nor repairs. There is slight wear to the bottom of base, see photos. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. There may be bubbles, a shear (straw) mark, and other minor imperfections within the glass due to the manufacturing process used at the time.
