Description: 17” finely forged blade with figured tip including two pairs of silhouetted circles to the back. Wood hilt and scabbard elaborately decorated with bead and animal teeth pendants, panels of fine cord lash and animal fur. The surfaces painted in traditional pattern, probably dating about 1900 with a fine quality earlier blade remounted. Headhunting was still practiced at the time. Total length with sheath is 23"
