Description: Early Antique Mintone Flow Blue Edge Floral Plate. Aged color and crazing. Beautiful antique plate withflow blue edge, aged color and crazing, and scalloped edges. Has a lovely aged ivory base color with a deep cobalt flow blue edge. Still has a lot of the gold foil detail. The makers mark "Mintone" on the back is the early spelling of the Minton China Company, who dropped the "e" from their name in the late 1800s. Does have some small chips along the edges which are shown close up. But, remarkable find in this condition!
