Description: For sale here is a very rare 43 1/2" long, right hand Callaway Classics persimmon driver and it is all-original from its Golf Pride Velvet Cord grip to its simulated hickory stick Callaway UTAH graphite shaft in R 12.0 flex. It has been many, many years since Callaway produced a persimmon driver. I think this one was produced in 1988. A Callaway persimmon driver is a real rarity and this one has been showcased in my study for 24 years. The clubhead and whipping are in very good condition. The simulated wood UTAH graphite shaft has been scuffed about 6 inches up from the end of the whipping. The original Golf Pride Velvet Cord Victory grip has hardened from age and shows stress cracks.
