Description: Up for bid is a small berry serving spoon in the SWISS pattern by Gorham, introduced in 1870. The piece is 8 3/8 inches long and weighs 50 grams. The bowl interior has a stippled surface and engraved decoration. The piece is monogrammed "Caldwell" on the handle front. The piece is marked "PAT.APPL.FOR" with “STERLING” and the Gorham trademark on the handle back. Condition on the spoon is fairly good. There are some bowl edge dings and normal wear from use. A nice server in a fine old pattern!
