We have decided it is time to start selling off a some of our extensive collection, so that others my get a chance to own and appreciate them as much as we have all these years. They are all very unique handmade vintage pieces of postage stamp collage folk art. This one was created using cancelled foreign postage stamps. This piece of postcard collage art depicts a well dressed lady out for a stroll, dressed very nicely carrying her handbag. It is made up of using cancelled postage stamps, watercolors and pen and ink. The frame measures approximately 5.75 x 7.75 and is made out of wood with a gold trim on the inside of the frame. The picture measures approximately 3 x 5 inches. It is matted in a cream colored thick matte, ready for hanging and display this wonderful piece of art. Even though I can not see the card because it is framed I do believe this card measures approximately 3.5 x 5.50 inches, but again just a guess. This is an original piece from the mid 1900's, perfect for collectors of vintage postcards. This card is in excellent condition. Please see pictures. This card would be a great addition to any stamp collage collection or as a truly unique gift. These postcards showcase the unique and intricate art of a handcrafted stamp collage and would be perfect for anyone who appreciates vintage handmade items.
