Description: 19th Century Air Figurine This beautifully modeled figure dates to the early 19th century and is emplematic of "air" as represented by the bird. Probably made by Enoch Wood. This item was deaccessioned from a museum as indicated by the inventory number ot base. Vibrantly painted. Approx. 7 "H X 3 1/2" W. Documentation: A similar piece is documented in the Schkolne Staffordshire Book Volume 4, p. 85 Figure 153.57 Condition: Minor paint loss, break to bocage on right. Minor chipping to applied foliage on base, minor paint loss, breakto horn in hand, a few other minor imperfections to be expected with age.
