Description: Early Staffordshire Musicians with sheep goat and dog This beautifully modeled group dates to the early 19th century. The figures are amazingly detailed with surprisingly little damage. Most likely some restoration has been done, but it is not visible so whoever did it, did it well. It features a lady lute player and gentleman bagpiper with sheep, goat and dog. Approx. 9"H X 5" W. A similar piece is documented in the Schkolne Staffordshire Book Volume 1, p. 124 Figure 26.66 Condition: Excellent condition however most likely there has been restoration done, just is not readily apparent. I will be listing a large Collection of Staffordshire, so please continue watching my auctions. Terms of Sale Please review photos closely. I try and represent items as accurately as possible.
