Description: Early Staffordshire Virgin Mary This stunning piece features the Virgin Mary, Madonna and Child. It has not been professionally examined however I see no apparent areas of restoration or repair. Early 19th Century and attributed to Ralph Wood. Approx 9.5"H X 3"W. Provenance: Prominent Private New York Collection Documentation: Schkolne Staffordshire Figures, Volume 2, p, 243, fig 107.13 Condition: Minor imperfections and edge wear to be expected, as made firing crack to neck.
