Description: 11 original volumes of the Easton Press Great Books of the 20th Century series. Like all Easton Press books, these are leather-bound with 22kt gold accents, acid neutral paper, satin-ribbon page marker and sewn pages. Some of the books include the original Collector’s Edition insert which was available in later editions. No name plates included (either attached or unattached). Set includes: The Age of Innocence – Edith Wharton All Quiet on the Western Front – Erich Maria Remarque All the King’s Men – Robert Penn Warren Babbitt – Sinclair Lewis Beloved – Toni Morrison Brideshead Revisited – Evelyn Waugh The Call of the Wild – Jack London Catch-22 – Joseph Heller A Clockwork Orange – Anthony Burgess Darkness at Noon – Arthur Koestler Death Comes for the Archbishop – Willa Cather Significant condition exceptions: Beloved was assembled with the pages upside-down. Still completely readable but an odd printing mistake by EP. All Quiet on the Western Front and A Clockwork Orange have scuffs on the back. All the King’s Men and Brideshead Revisited have more gold accent transfer than normal. None of this is visible when books are on the shelf. See photos for detail. Please review my other listings for additional sets of 11 volumes from this series or other volumes of Easton Press books.
