(The Broadway revival opened October 20th, 1977 at the Martin Beck Theatre in New York City and ran for 925 performances. The London production began previews on September 7th, 1978 and officially opened September 13th, 1978.) ..... The play starred TERENCE STAMP in the title role and featured DEREK GODFREY, ROSALIND AYRES, NICKOLAS GRACE, RUPERT FRAZER, MARILYN GALSWORTHY, SHAUN CURRY and BARRIE COOKSON .....
