Description: These Patsyette dolls was introduced by Effanbee in 1936. The Tyrolean doll pair was made to promote the Broadway play, White Horse Inn. The 9&1/2” dolls are all composition and are fully articulated. Both have molded brown painted hair and brown painted eyes. Each is marked EFFANBEE//PATSYETTE on the upper back. They are wearing their original, nearly complete outfits. Both are missing their hats. The boy is missing his tie and the girl is missing the lacing on her vest. The dolls are in very good to excellent condition from a smoke-free home. The boy has two marks on his hair and paint wear on his fingertips. There is a hole in the back of his pants. The girl has light paint wear on her fingertips. Neither doll has cracks, chips or lifting and the facial painting is good. The stringing on both dolls is secure, and there are no unpleasant odors. Please enlarge and examine the photos for additional description of condition. Thank you for looking.
