Description: Likely Egyptian origin and ebony - silver metal inlay and shell decoration near finial/handle. The stick is 33" long which includes the rubber foot. I know nothing specific about 1) walking sticks 2) Egyptian art except what I could glean online from objects of similar type. The arabesque design appears somewhat primitive by intent, or perhaps the work of a young artist or shop worker? My knowledge is exceedingly limited.
