Description: Eisenhower Era Signatures Republican Politicians, Walt Horan U.S. Rep Eastern Washington 1943-1965 * I am selling a number of these Signatures from July 1953. They were collected by Virginia Olson as part of a Fundraiser she was doing for the Yakima Washington / Republican State Central Committee. It was a cookbook she/they produced with Recipes of Republicans during the Eisenhower Administration. * Mrs. Olson and her husband Si were very involved as organizers for Republican causes ( I have sold a number of items from this estate recently, and have many others so look at my other listings). In the 1960's they moved to Washington D.C., and did a number of things for the party. Mrs. Olson took a job with the Nixon administration, and worked in the East Wing, mostly for William Timmons, Director of Congressional Relations. These autograph come as clipped from recipe letters, on recipes, and sometimes individual letters. I recently sold a president Eisenhower autograph from these project, A number of the signatures come from Washington Reps but a number are cabinet members as well. Some maybe autopenned, or staffer, but accept for Nixon, I doubt it. If you buy more than 1, I will combine shipping, and refund you extra postage when sent. Thanks
