The bottom padding on our 78233 windscreen (capsule sleeve) is thicker than original which makes the old 'rear foam' 78232 now obsolete and not needed in reassembly. Included are Lincoln Microphone LLC parts: 78233 'wind screen'78231 'pop/blast filter'0.035" allen wrench for getting into the headbasket You WILL need a second larger Allen wrench to enter the 'rear cup' where the XLR is housed ( I can't recall size but fairly standard) XLR set screw needs a small flat head aka 'xcelite greenie' On some microphones the headbasket set screw is not a 0.035" Allen but rather a small flat eyeglass size screw. Clear the set screw from the headbasket entirely or enough to not damage threads as it is possible to cross-thread and ruin the microphone body. Cost of foam materials was up 26% YoY do the math, this isn't sustainable. Government spending is out of control.
