Description: High-grade Elgin 21 jewel adjusted five position Father Time railroad grade antique pocket watch. Movement Is beautifully finished with fancy Damaskeening ,a gold train with gold timing screws and jewel settings. A very attractive, and good running movement that seems to keep time but I have not checked it over a long period. Dial is the original Elgin bold Arabic boxcar style railroad dial and looks mint to near mint. Very nice dial. Nice hands. Case is the original factory, Elgin RR case and a stamped Elgin RR Underneath the crown. Case is in good working condition and is a gold filled case but does have some light wear but no brass showing. I believe these cases are 12K gold filled but have a solid gold bow. Bow and crown look nice. Watch is a very attractive and a good running high grade Elgin railroad watch. Serial number 23214965, circa 1921. Watch winds and sets correctly, and is lever set and case opens and closes easily.. Please see pictures for more information and condition. Sold as is.
