Dark blue cloth covered boards, clean but with faint damp stains along front and back fore-edges. Outermost board edges are faded. External page edges are age-darkened, fore- and lower-edges are rough trimmed. Fore-edges on paste-downs also show damp stains. The first and last pages of the book have shadow transfers. Internally clean except for age-toning and scant foxing mostly on first and last several pages. Dust jacket is detached at the front spine fold, now reinforced with archival tape. Jacket spine is sunned, some staining around edges on front and back panels. Loss from chips at head and tail of jacket spine. Inside flap corners are uniformly clipped. Price of 6s. net is intact.
