Description: About Elizabeth Ockwell Elizabeth was born in Bozeman, Montana, and grew up in Seattle, Washington. A painter, etcher and maker of drawings she received a B.A. at the University Washington, 1967. Studied painting at the Kolner Werkschulen in Cologne, Germany and at the Hochschule fur bildende Kunste, Hamburg. M.F.A in Painting, Northwestern University, Chicago, 1974. Taught watercolor and anatomy at the Art Institute of Chicago from 1975 - 2009. "Nevermore" limited edition etching signed by Elizabeth Ockwell. As shown, professionally framed by my gallery with a black wood frame, a black leather rag mat, and conservation glass that screens 99% of UV fading rays. Overall measurements are 16 1/2" W x 14 1/2" T. Art measurements are 8" W x 6" T. I purchased this art in 2008 from the artist's representative and it has been in my personal collection ever since.
