Description: This week, I’m auctioning off some choice examples of comic book and comic strip original art. There should be something for everyone here. The syndicated comic strip "Ella Cinders" by Charles Plumb ran from 1925 to 1961, and featured a hard luck heroine (her name a variation of "Cinderella" as she tries to make it as an actress. The strip was an entertaining soap opera, alternating between drama and comedy and was set in a wide variety of settings. At its peak, it appeared in hundreds of newspapers daily. The strip is still fondly remembered. Here I have a daily strip dated March 13, 1942, measuring a whopping 6 x 24. It's in great shape and is a nice example of this series.
