In bright sunlit outdoor conditions, or other situations with bright direct light, use the included sun hood to block any glare for a clear view of the screen. Power can be supplied to the monitor via the included L-Series battery plate. L-Series batteries are widely available, and come in a variety of sizes. If you already own L-Series-powered cameras or accessories, powering this monitor won't be a problem.
