Description: ELVIN JONES "Live at Pookie's Pub, NYC July 1967- TEST PRESSING CD This is an original test pressing along with correspondence letters between Tony Moreno, engineer Bob Flesch, and Elvin's wife Keiko Jones 2011. Zoom in to read.Compare with Revival: Live at Pookie's. Not sure if it is related to the Blue Note's release other than being of the same performances and of the same original recordings by the same engineer.This may be the precursor to it and may have an additional track. We haven't researched it thoroughly, but seems to be the beginning of the process to get these wonderful recordings released. A great collector's item. See pics for condition. The jewel case cover fits fine over top, but is broken off. This item comes from the Elvin Jones and Keiko Jones estate which our gallery purchased in its entirety in December 2022.
