Description: Emerson Research Smart Set Alarm Clock/Radio Model CKS-3516 w/Time Projector NEW!Brand New in original box! Clock was removed from box and thoroughly tested and it appearsthat the clock will NOT automatically set. I'm not sure why this is. I tried it in several different locationsand it seems like it wants to default to the time around when it was manufactured. You can still set the time manually and it will remember the time if unplugged. Because of this issue I am selling this clock radioat a reduced price. Also, it looks like the lithium button battery for the clocks battery backup is low.A low battery indicator comes on the screen when unit is plugged in. This is expected as thisitem was manufactured years ago. Battery is easily replaced by removing one small screw at the bottom of the unit. It takes one Lithium CR2430 button cell. Any questions feel free to ask! NOTE: THIS ITEM HAS AN ISSUE WHERE IT DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY SET THE TIME.IT CAN ONLY BE SET MANUALLY.
