Description: This elegant porcelain tea pot "Moonlight" ("Tulip" form) with a magnificent original design will complement any meal - whether it is an ordinary tea party with friends or a holiday feast. The tea pot was made at the legendary Imperial Porcelain Factory, which was opened in the second half of the 18th century, in accordance with the old production methods of the company. A unique recipe for each type of porcelain was developed by the scientist Dmitry Vinogradov back in the 18th century for the Elizabethan Porcelain Manufactory (now the Imperial Porcelain Factory). Each tea pot is painted and decorated manually, using the overglaze technique. Unusual paints are used to decorate tableware, such as cobalt oxide (black paint that turns blue after firing in an oven at extremely high temperatures) and super-paint, which is made from liquid gold. Painting is carried out by hand using underglaze and overglaze techniques, as wells as the decal technique. A practical gift option for a general or personal holiday.
